As a dietitian for almost twenty years, I have always been passionate about helping people reach optimal health.
A few years ago, my family was struck with autoimmune disease, irritable bowel syndrome, infertility and cancer. These health problems sparked my deep interest and fueled my passion for exploring the latest science on how nutrition can heal the body at a deeper level. This was the time that I felt the need to open up to more holistic and integrative approaches in my practice.
Initially my research was focused on cancer. I was sad and shocked to find out the alarming predictions about the increasing prevalence of cancer. At the same time I became very optimistic by learning that a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle can prevent between 30 to 50 per cent of new cancer cases each year. New scientific discoveries proved that we can reprogram our genes in order to prevent and fight cancer when we follow an Anticancer diet! This amazing information and the potential of helping in creating a cancer-free world, led to my decision to write my new book titled: “Anticancer – The Preventive Power of Food”.
It is now my mission to educate as many people as possible about the cancer preventive power of food. I invite you to join me on my mission for creating a cancer-free world!
My other main interests include: autoimmune diseases such as arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and Hashimoto's, brain health i.e. Alzheimer’s, migraines, and depression, diabetes and intestinal health.
Through my website, blog, books and my live and online workshops, I wish to empower you to make informed choices about your diet, to unlock your internal healing power and to help you and your loved ones stay healthy in the future!
